Meet Amber Mann
Welcome to Growing Minds Nanny Care! I am thrilled to have you here to learn more about myself and the Growing Minds mission, vision, and values. My name is Amber, and I am the owner of Growing Minds Nanny Care. I am enthusiastic about providing the highest quality care for your children utilizing my education, experience, and creative heart.
I graduated from California State University, Sacramento with my Bachelor of Arts in Child and Adolescent Development. I have years of experience working as a nanny and providing intermittent in-home childcare for several families in the greater Sacramento area. Now, it is my dream to make providing quality in-home childcare my forever career, allowing me to continue to pour into the growing minds of infants, children, and adolescents on a professional and still very personal level while simultaneously growing a resource for trusted care within our community.
Our mission is simple yet powerful –-to nurture and cultivate the growth of young minds through engaging personalized care in the comfort of their own homes. Every child deserves a safe, enriching, and empowering environment to thrive in. At Growing Minds Nanny Care, our vision is to be the premier choice for developmentally focused in-home childcare serving the Sacramento community. We understand the deep impact early childhood experiences have on their future, which is why we strive to provide a comfortable yet stimulating environment that fosters learning and connection.
We hope to grow into a collective group of providers that can provide our community with trusted, developmentally appropriate childcare for both the short-term and long-term needs of so many families in our area. While this vision is in the preliminary stages, Growing Minds Nanny Care is solely operated by me, Amber. I am CPR certified and have experience with newborns, infants, children, and adolescents of all ages, comfortably providing care for up to 5 children. I am proficient in American Sign Language and have emergent literacy in Spanish. I am passionate about human kindness and growing within ourselves. My hobbies include spending time with my pets, caring for my numerous houseplants, and watching my god-children play sports. I am so excited to share this dream with you as it unfolds.
